An armadillo puppet is a recurring puppet in the Puppet Up! - Uncensored stage shows and various other Henson Alternative productions. The puppet is a personal favorite of Brian Henson to perform, often being used in puppetry demonstrations and improv scenes.
The puppet was originally built by Paul Andrejco for Jim Henson's Animal Show appearing as Dooley the Armadillo and as Toby the Armadillo. The puppet was later recycled as Annette on Bear in the Big Blue House, Joe the Armadillo in the bonus material for the Kermit's Swamp Years DVD, and Mr. Dillo and Sniffly Whiffler on Mopatop's Shop.
In addition to appearing as an unnamed utility puppet in Puppet Up! - Uncensored and Stuffed and Unstrung, the puppet was featured in the That Puppet Game Show as The Amazing Ian.
