Course of the Force is a Star Wars-themed, Olympic-style lightsaber relay held from July 7-11, 2012 wherein participants will make a journey from Santa Monica to San Diego California to benefit the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
The event is sponsored by Nerdist Industries, LucasFilm, Octagon and Machinima.
Henson Alternative puppet character Marvin E. Quasniki appeared in a promotional video to announce the event in February 2012 with Nerdist's Chris Hardwick.
