A warthog puppet is a recurring puppet in the Puppet Up! - Uncensored stage shows and various other Henson Alternative productions.
The puppet was originally designed and built by Jean-Guy White for Jim Henson's Animal Show appearing as Bernice the Warthog and later as Warren the Warthog on the show. The puppet was later recycled on Muppets Tonight and appeared as various characters in Mopatop's Shop.
Many Puppet Up! shows are opened by an Italian accent Warthog opera man used in some shows from 2010 to mid-2019. In 2019, a warthog hasn't got an Italian accent, but he shares a duet with a fish about wrap things up.
The puppet appeared in the "Doctor's Office" episode of Neil's Puppet Dreams (performed by Victor Yerrid).
In addition to appearing as an unnamed utility puppet in Puppet Up! - Uncensored and Stuffed and Unstrung, the puppet was used as George Rooney on No, You Shut Up!.
